Diagnostics

Every consulting project starts with diagnostic stage. It represents business analysis of the entire management system or its separate function (for example, finance, HR, marketing or sales). 

On this stage we carefully explore all information about a client, make a close study of its business processes, and receive the first view of the situation within a company.

These first steps are necessary to get acquainted with each other and to find common language for specific problems and demands existing in client’s business.

Diagnostics usually results in:

  • model of actual situation in business, which is a precondition for weak points and bottle-necks determination in business management system or its function, and also for optimization potential reveal,

  • knowledge about actual state of affairs in business, which is a precondition for the development of the transition strategy from “as is” towards “to be” status,

  • clear view of the actual situation, existing problems and key cross-functional links – for all company’s managers, involved in project performance,

  • “tree diagram” for existing problems, which then is transformed into “advantages tree”.

From the formal point of view diagnostic stage should result in analysis report and its presentation to company’s top-management, and then followed by structured working plan for the next consulting stage.
